Who is Lord Ram ?

Ram is a major figure in Hindu mythology and religion. He is considered to be the seventh avatar of the god Vishnu and is believed to have lived on earth during the Treta Yuga, an ancient period in Hindu cosmology. Ram is revered by many Hindus as a symbol of righteousness, virtue, and the ideal human being. His story is told in the Hindu epic poem, the Ramayana, which describes his life, exploits, and battles. According to the Ramayana, Ram was born as the eldest son of King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya, and he spent much of his life fighting evil forces and upholding dharma (righteousness). His wife Sita and his brother Lakshman played important roles in his adventures, and together they form an important part of Hindu mythology and tradition.
