 A complete list of characters who died in Avengers: Infinity War Comment Thanos’ snap claimed a lot of lives part-1 After Thanos’ snap at the end of the last Avengers film, half of the whole population of the universe was turned to dust, and the heroes we’ve come to know and love were no exception. Now that Endgame is about to drop (cue screaming), it would be the perfect time to refresh your memory as to which characters died during the course of the last movie, because a heartbreaking number of characters bit the, erm, dust.  Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston :- Fan-favourite Loki was the first death on screen in the film, which let us know that the Russo brothers meant business with Infinity War.
