There’s no greater joy than seeing the National Flag unfurl or the National Anthem play. No matter how many times you experience it in your lifetime, it never fails to give you the goosebumps. And when it’s one of the most significant days of the year, Republic Day, one cannot hold back the sense of pride the day imbues within.

While the country celebrates the day with barbeques, fireworks, parades and other festivities, it’s time to understand the history of Republic Day and how far the country has come in building itself into a strong nation.

1.The first Republic Day was celebrated three years after we got Independence that is, on January26, 1950. Actually, it took 2 years and 11 months for the Indian Constitution to be drafted.

2.Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India took the Oath of Presidentship (at Dubar Hall of government house) for the first time on January 26th, 1950.

3.During the Republic Day parade, a Christian song “Abide With Me” is played and it is considered as one of Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite songs.

4.Another fun fact about India is that it holds the record of having the world’s longest Constitution with 448 Articles in total.

5.President Sukarno, Indonesia’s first President attended Republic Day celebrations as the first Chief Guest.

6.The importance of Republic Day could be estimated by the fact that it is a three day long affair with celebrations ending on 29th January with a Beating Retreat Ceremony.

7.On January 26th, 1965, Hindi was declared the national language of India.

8.On January 26, 1930, India pledged to fight for complete freedom or Purna Swaraj. And that is why, our freedom fighters wanted the date to hold the significance. Consequently, January 26, 1950 was chosen for India to become a sovereign state

9.Our Constitution has the best aspects of the Constitution of other countries. Liberty, Equality and Fraternity was adopted from French Constitution while the Five-Year Plan came from the USSR Constitution.

10.The first Republic Day parade was held at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium and was attended by 15,000 civilians.

11.One interesting fact about Indian Constitution is that it is handwritten in two languages- Hindi & English. It was signed by 308 members on January 24th, 1950 and became effective two days later.

12.The eve of Republic Day is chosen to announce a majority of National awards like Bharat Ratna, Kirti Chakra, Padma Awards.

13.Before the Indian Republic Day came into force, India followed Government of India Act, 1935 laid by the British Government.

14.On the 1st Republic Day in the year 1950 at 10:30 AM, a 31-gun salute took place to congratulate our first President.

15.On the Republic Day, the Indian Air Force came into existence. Before this, the Indian Air Forcewas a controlled body but after Republic Day, Indian Air Force became an independent body.

Hope van Dyme /The Wasp, played by Evangeline Lilly :-

Technically Hope’s death didn’t happen during Avengers: Infinity War, and the same goes for Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas, and Janet Van Dyne, played by Michelle Pfeiffer. In a mid-credits scene during Ant-Man and the Wasp, it was revealed that all three of these characters died as a result of The Snap.

 Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff :-

The sweet and innocent Mantis, along with almost all of the other Guardians of the Galaxy, turned into dust on the planet Titan, after having fought to no avail to keep Thanos’ hands off of the Time Stone. Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders (Picture: Marvel/Disney) Agent Hill, who has been a mainstay of the franchise since 2012 when The Avengers came out, was seen dying next to her long-time boss Nick Fury in a post-credits scene.

 Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson :-

 Nick crumbled into dust next to Maria hill in the post-credits scene, but not before he can shoot off a message to who we can now pretty safely deduce was Captain Marvel – proving once and for all that not all heroes wear capes. 

Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen :-

Scarlet Witch had a particularly difficult time of it during Infinity War. From the off, she had to fight to keep the man/machine she loved, Vision, out of Thanos’ clutches, only to be forced to kill him herself when they ran out of time to try and get the Infinity Stone out of his head and keep him alive at the same time. The she only had to watch him die again when Thanos showed up, turned back time, and brutally ripped the Mind Stone out of Vision’s head for himself. As if our heartstrings weren’t already pulled to the breaking point, the last we saw of Wanda was her disintegrating as she held Vision’s lifeless body.

 Shuri, played by Letitia Wright :-

 Shuri was a favourite with fans since her appearance in 2018’s Black Panther. Her smarts, determination, and sick burns gained her won viewers over almost instantly, but unfortunately, it was confirmed that she died off-screen at some point, with the specific details of her death still to be revealed. The news was broken to us all via the marketing campaign for Endgame, which released posters in colour for the heroes who made are still alive, and in black in which for those which have died. Sadly, Shuri’s poster was in black and white.

 Spider-Man/Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland :-

 Sweet baby Spider-Man was one of the hardest deaths to watch. Over the course of the film, we see Peter, who’s really just a high school-aged kid, grow closer to his mentor Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.), and fight to be included in the battle to save the universe at every turn. His last lines showed him reaching out to Tony, repeating the words ‘I don’t want to go’. Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimised by the Russo brothers.

 Star-Lord/Peter Quill, played by Chris :-

 Poor, hot-headed Star-Lord disintegrated along with most of the other Guardians of the Galaxy, after having thoroughly botched the battle to keep Thanos from getting the Time Stone on Titan.

 The Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes, played by Sebastian Stan :-

 The Cap’s childhood best friend, for whom we’ve seen Steve sacrifice so much to save and keep safe over the course of the whole franchise, was the first person we saw die because of the snap. This means that, between Bucky and Falson, Steve Rogers lost both of his best and most trustworthy friends in the space of just a few seconds. And, in case you needed another reason to cry, Bucky’s last word was ‘Steve.’

 A complete list of characters who died in Avengers: Infinity War Comment Thanos’ snap claimed a lot of lives part-1

After Thanos’ snap at the end of the last Avengers film, half of the whole population of the universe was turned to dust, and the heroes we’ve come to know and love were no exception. Now that Endgame is about to drop (cue screaming), it would be the perfect time to refresh your memory as to which characters died during the course of the last movie, because a heartbreaking number of characters bit the, erm, dust. 

Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston :-

Fan-favourite Loki was the first death on screen in the film, which let us know that the Russo brothers meant business with Infinity War. Loki was murdered with Thanos’ own hand pre-snap after finally showing true loyalty to his brother Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth). The trickster tried to assassinate Thanos after he’d massacred the ship of Asguardian refugees, but the big purple baddie saw right through his ruse and killed him for it, saying ‘No resurrections this time’. This, in reference to the other two times we’ve thought Loki died, indicated that our favourite Asguardian bad-boy might be dead for good this time.

 Heimdall, played by Idris Elba :-

Another casualty of the massacre on the Asguardian ship was Thor’s friend Heimdall, the guardian of the gateway to, among other planets, Earth. Heimdall was gravely injured, but before he died, he managed to conjure the gateway to Earth one more time, and sent the Hulk to warn the Avengers that Thanos was on his way. 

Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana :-

 Gamora’s death was particularly poignant. As possibly the only thing in the universe that Thanos loved, he had to sacrifice her life to get the Soul Stone. So to achieve his goal of collecting all the Infinity Stones, the Mad Titan threw his adopted daughter off a cliff. 

Vision, played by Paul Bettany :-

 Next, poor Vision had to die twice in Infinity War. First, his lady love Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) had to kill him to destroy the Mind Stone embedded in his head. However Thanos arrived, and with his Time Stone, turned back time to get the stone himself, killing Vision again in the process.

 Black Panther/T’Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman :-

Now we’ve reached the deaths that happened as a result of Thanos’ snap. Black Panther turned to dust in front of his loyal soldier and companion, Okoye (Danai Gurira), who looked utterly lost as the man she’d sworn to protect died before her eyes.

 Doctor Strange/Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch :-

Doctor Strange disintegrated, but not before he could say some vital final words. Strange was formerly in possession of the Time Stone, and he used it earlier on in the film to find out that, of all many potential outcomes, only one course of action would lead to them being able to save the universe from Thanos. Just as he died, Strange said: ‘Tony, there was no other way.’ Could this mean that letting Thanos win was essential to eventually defeating him? 

Drax, played by Dave Bautista :-

 Drax, along with other Guardians of the Galaxy, did his best to fight against Thanos and protect the Time Stone, but it was to no avail, and when Thanos snapped his fingers, Drax was one of the casualties. 

Falcon/Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie :-

 Falcon, one of Captain America’s (Chris Evans) most loyal cohorts, was one of the ones who sadly turned to dust before our very eyes. 

Groot, played by Vin Diesel :-

 Loosing Groot was particularly hard, because we’ve seen this violent tree first as a fully grown adult, then as a baby grown from a sprig of his former self, and finally as a somewhat salty but still lovable adolescent. What made his death even more tragic was when James Gunn, director of The Guardians of the Galaxy movies and producer of Infinity War revealed that, as Groot was disintegrating, he called Rocket Raccoon ‘Dad’. रसायन विज्ञान का जनक या पिता Lavoisier को कहा जाता है।

1. क्या आपको पता है, सोना का घनत्व पारा के घनत्व से ज्यादा होता है इसलिए सोना पारा में डुब जाता है।

2. सोडियम को मिट्टी तेल में डुबोकर रखा जाता है क्योंकि यह वायु के सम्पर्क में आने से जलने लगता है।

3. नाइट्रस आक्साइड को हसाने वाली गैस के नाम से जाना जाता है क्योंकि इस गैस को सूंघने पर कोई भी इंसान हंसने लगता है। इसकी खोज प्रीस्टले नामक वैज्ञानिक ने किया था।

50. माचिस की तीली पर जो लाल रंग का लगा होता है, उसे लाल फास्फोरस कहते है और इसी का एक प्रकार है जिसे सफेद फास्फोरस के नाम से जाना जाता है यह इतना अभिक्रियाशिल होता है कि इसे पानी में डुबोकर रखा जाता है क्योंकि पानी से बाहर निकालते ही यह जलने लगता है।
